My parents are so rarely wrong, I haven't had the need to contradict them or correct them. But if the situation came up, we have enough understanding and respect between us for me to correct them, and I will do it in a respectful manner.

i read in an Islamic book that we should neva correct our parents and see them in the wrong even if their thoughts/actions are incorrect...
We must have respect 4 them an be tolerant (Samahah, Amanah etc)

However, i always correct my parents when i need 2, which is very rarely... But, i jus give them my views in a positive manner... Im called the doctor at home or the protective annoying granny... My dad loves hearing my opinions and always asks 4 my views... so, i guess its how u present urselves 2 dem... And at the end of the day, no1 is wrong if u see through der eyes, dats my belief...

Insha'Allah i'll have the smae relationship with my in-laws, lolz...

ah here comes admin with anotha strange question lol j/k

well yes i would tell them if they r wrong (which is kindda not possible) and if they say they arent.. then i would shush up.. they r more experienced and more responsible than us kids... if they say 'no' to something it means there is something wrong with it.
