An old lady answers a knock at her door one day only to be confronted by a young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.
"Good morning madam" he says, "I'd like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners"
"get lost!" replies the old lady, "I don't have any money" and with that she begins to close the door.
Quick as a flash the young man wedges his foot in the door and pushes it open.
"don't be too hasty!" he says, "not until you've at least seen my demonstration"
He proceeds to empty a bag of dog s*** all over the womans carpet.
"If this hoover does not remove all traces of this mess from your carpet, I will personally eat the remainder"
"Well", says the old lady, "I hope you have a good appetite because the electricity was cut off this morning!"
