sweet i think its more the fact that we NATURALLY find guys who are a lil bit taller, attractive.. its like unconscously u know that this person is a good match .. hence reason u go 4 him.

i remember hearing that in the olden days height was a major issue for women wen subconsciously checking out potential spouses.
the reason for this was based on darwinian theory - survival of the fittest. just like in the animal kingdom, the females would be attracted more to the taller, stronger males as they would be able to protect them better and being the better 'hunters' provide them with their necessities better.
however this explanation has been turned on its head in modern times, because survival of the fittest no longer needs to take height as the major attribute, but things like wealth and/or power have been determined to be the key factor simply cos the human race has moved from being 'hunter' types to being materialistic.
Anyway, thats all just a theory I heard once...and Darwin talked the biggest load of bull anyway
