Listening to the gentle echo of my voice as I hum a sweet love tune while walking up the marble stairs makes my mind wonder about the other side of the world.
In every slow step I take a magic memory of you slips into my mind, a thousand miles away you may be but this imagination of mine brings you as close to me as in reality, making me smile just as if I was staring into your eyes for the very first time.
Sitting on the bed with the laptop in front of me and the air condition blowing away I think about how these lonely moments I spend here are forever captured in my mind just as is every wishful moment.
The time I spend here helps me learn something new each day, it shows me the way life can be, then I think what my life really is and I appreciate every minute of it.
Sometimes we take what we have for granted and focus on what’s wrong in our lives and what’s missing instead of what’s right and what we have. The importance of not-so-important elements of our normal daily lives, become an essence of well-being and comfort.
As they say ‘home is where the heart is’ and the truth of this statement has eventually found its way and rooted itself deep within my mind.
The human mind is of one which adapts psychologically to its familiar surroundings and everything else becomes alien.
Sanity to one is insanity to another. I’ve found out that I’m not as adaptable as I once thought I was, this short but fruitful trip has made me realise a number of things about myself and not just that but those that surround me.
The mind is not in the body, the body is in the mind.

i watched sport relief couple of weeks ago and saw this 2 yr old girl working wit her dad at this rubble site where explosives can go off at any time and one did when they were filmin. that really got 2 me. should be grateful that most of us r blessed to have a hse and food x |
