Simple question
Ever been online and started chatting to someone on a regular basis, about ur life and whats happening,,,,,,and at times also flirting.
is this right or wrong....especially i someone on the other end begins to declare their undying love for you!!!!
I have seen people do this and then meet up as well. is this good or bad.....would you runaway with anyone on Asian Forum??? |

| i totally agree with the both of u...and it is scary that kids are meeting up with ppl they hardly know....but for the older lot...i think its just pure curiousity...meeting up i mean. 2 ppl can chat...exchange pics but nothing is better than meeting up. Its not all bad...if ur matture enough then go for it, if not 4get it...either way if ur gonna meet up with some1 its at ur own peril ;-) |

i think there has to be a cut-off point with age..maybe a system needs to be put into place..maybe when id cards come out..personal id numbers will be like a secure way to be online....even so caution needs to be taken...and kids seriously need to be watched when they're online..

Yep, i agree, there needs to be mor protection for the youngsters. I once caught my 9 yr old cousin talking to a 21 yr old, and saying she was a 17 yr old. now thats scary

There’s a group of elite folks, who hold a meeting on dal***! and we discuss ways to combat similar concerns, and ways to put a stop to it, or introduce measures to authenticate users properly, and make sure they are who they say they are. I administer a large chat room, and I have developed techniques to infiltrate a person’s computer, which BTW, I know is wrong or maybe illegal, but I’m not doing this for malicious purposes, it’s just to check, and spy on the supposed freak for a while, and if this person is suspected to be someone else then he says he is. We make sure he doesn't log on our chat room ever again. Saying all this, it’s difficult, and hard to totally control such evil despo’s. One way to go would be, to unplug the internet totally, or ban all the Police, monks, and teachers of predominantly white background from then internet. Dirty rascals!

parents need to filter internet access, using parental control like the ones found in AOL/BT Yahoo.
children should not be alowed to browse the Internet as it is, content needs to be selective dependant on age. email also needs to be filtered by parents so email are only accepted from known persons.
its very difficult to verify who the person is on the other end of a chat conversation or even in this forum. ways that will help verify the persons identity will be using credit card authentication - then again people under 18 i think cant have credit/debit cards?
Verification will at least give the facilitator some proof of identity and will reduce the dangers of chat.
anyways be careful people! if u meet anyone from this forum! let us know!

some school r getin police officer to do presentations on internet safety. i went to a hacney school early dis wk.The main objective was 2 emphasise not 2 give out personal details.eg. add. etc
the children was also told 2 use internet in living rooms.
if dey wanted 2 mt d person, it shud be in d presence of an adult in a public place.

Bad as in u neva know how the person is in reality ! Online is the BIGGEST AND GREATEST DISGUISE! well in bangladesh there have been cases that the girl runs away to meet her online luv, in the end she finds it's a guy much older than what he had claimed in the end got raped! :S well betta just dont go! for guys... hey this is funny, when u might go to meet ur online luv, ig might turn out that that she is a GAY~ :D lolz

Mr peado, stupidly goes to see my fake picture, Exploited, and least does he know his computer has already been exploited and Mr Admin is logging his every private messages! Also browseing his Drive to find any clues as to what his real identity is! :)
If Mr peado is found to be someone else then he says he is! Mr Admin, Bans his computer name from our chat room, so no matter how many times he changes his IP or which ever proxy he use's to log into our chat room, he is not able to log in due to a ban placed on his computer!
