| hmmm, i do. my uncle is married to a pkistani girl - they seem to get on very well. im sure its whether u truly love the person. But its a different story when it comes to explaining to the parents! |

i mean, end of the day i presume both are muslims? so religiously there shouldn't be any problems. jst a culture/tradition clash
i'm lucky in that my parents are rather open-minded and that as long as we share the same religion then they shouldn't have many (if any) problems
what actually makes me laugh is that, i know a LOT MORE pakistani/bengali married to english people, as opposed to each other.. |

I'm from Luton, and I just speak from the people I know, I mean it may not be the case overall, but I know of several friends of mine whose parents are mixed race, and even some of my friends have married white women who have converted into muslims, and some are well white-wannabes and hence marry white women
and I only know of one bengali/paki marriage, and they seem to be happily married |
